It was so nice outside yesterday! Cole went out about 9am and came in to have lunch and a nap and was right back out until dark! My mom and brother were here so he and Canan played most of the day. When Daddy got home, he asked Cole to help him clean up the flower bed in the front yard. Cole is always excited to do anything Daddy is doing so he jumped on the opportunity to pick up the dead grass and load it into his tractor trailer. It was so cute. He looked like such a big boy. Cole, being the perfectionist that he is, was picking up every single piece of grass. Once he had it cleaned up to his liking, he jumped on the tractor to dump the trailer. He never made it to the dumping part, but he had a blast.

A lot has changed...
So I have finally made it around to posting a new blog. A ton has happened since June. I am almost 33 weeks pregnant with a little GIRL!! Her name is Lilli. Up until the last few weeks my pregnancy has been wonderful except for horrible morning sickness the first 16 weeks. Nothing a little Zofran can't take care of though. Ha. But, 3 weeks ago I had to be admitted to L&D for high blood pressure, 160/100 to be exact. Since then I have been put on bedrest where I will remain until Lilli is born. My blood pressure has been up and down since then. It spikes at least once a day even while on bedrest. I can feel it rising...it is a very strange feeling. Cole is taking this like a champ though. He doesn't seem too upset that I can't do much, but his Daddy has taken the reins and is doing a wonderful job playing "Mr. Mom". I think we both appreciate each other a little more now.
As for the nursery, well....nothing is done yet. Yes, I said NOTHING is done yet. I am calmly freaking out about this, if that is possible. I have painters coming to give me estimates on painting the room tomorrow after weeks of trying to get someone out here. I WILL hire SOMEONE tomorrow! I do have the bedding and the crib (not assembled) and a few things to decorate with, but until the room is painted I cannot do anything. Obviously, I won't be doing much, but I can't assign tasks to be done until the room is painted.
On a different note, Cole is doing AWESOME with potty training. Over the last few weeks he has started to tell us when he needs to go tee tee and he went #2 in the potty for the first time yesterday! We were SOOO excited!! I sure hope he doesn't regress too much when Lilli is born.

Night at Nene's
While I went to Nashville this past weekend, Cole stayed with Nene (my mom) Friday night and with his daddy on Saturday night. Cole actually slept ALL NIGHT, but was up at 6:15am Saturday. That is an hour before he normally wakes. Nene said she would take that over him not sleeping at all ANY DAY!! He used to not sleep but an hour or two when he stayed away from home, but looks like my strict schedule has gotten him out of that habit in a hurry! Thank goodness! Cole had Nene outside playing by 7am and they went to the park to swing Saturday afternoon. Here are a few pics from his trip to Nene's house...
NEW DO!
Gray has been so, so HOT this summer working outside with NO shade most of the time, not many breaks, and doing manual labor as well!! He kept talking about shaving his head and finally yesterday when he came home and started talking about it again, I just told him to DO IT ALREADY! So, he took a big chunk of out his hair, to prove to me that he would of course. I was a little shocked, but I finished shaving it for him! It was FUN! And, I have to admit....I LOVE IT!!! I haven't been able to take my eyes off him!!! What a hottie! =) SO, what do you think??
Poor Cole...the 2nd pic is terrible of him...bless his heart, but daddy liked it of his head! LOL!

Happy FIRST Birthday Cole!
I cannot believe that my BABY is a year old! It seems like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital! Time really does fly by SO fast! I believed everyone when they told me it would...but it goes by so much faster than I had imagined! My baby is such a Big Boy now!! He reminds me SOOO much of his daddy!! I think I have decided that I am going to have to lock him in his room when he becomes a teenager!! All of you that know Gray, totally understand why I am saying that!! HAHA!! I LOVE my two boys!!! They both keep me laughing non-stop!
I'm not sure why we didn't get more pictures of Cole's little cake...which was MILK FREE!!! Hopefully someone got a few! In case you didn't know, Cole is allergic to milk! We did not find out for sure until he was 9months old. At that time he was projectile vomiting EVERYTHING he put into his mouth! It was a horrible time! So, thanks to Dr. Rivas (Doc I work with) we were able to find a bakery that would make him a MILK FREE cake...this was no easy task! I had arrangements with a bakery here in Conway and they called me 3 days b4 the party to inform me that they could not make the cake for me!!!! 3 days before!! Really?! (I had made arrangements more than 2 weeks before that) I was so upset, so Dr. Rivas called his patient/bakery lady in MALVERN (more than an hr away) and she said she would just get online and get a recipe! She was a life saver! So, Bop and Berry had to stop and pick up the cakes on their way to Conway! Thanks Bop and Berry! And the cakes were both delicious!!
